# Aspire

> Aspire is an always-on AI agent for the money and careers of young people in the UK. It connects your accounts through secure open banking, finds better deals, spare cash and better-paid roles, works out what each move does for your goals, and makes the move only once you say yes, usually in one WhatsApp tap. Through a not-for-profit CIC, Aspire is also free for every UK secondary school: live lessons on money, AI and careers, plus the Aspire app for every pupil.

## Key facts

- What it is: an AI financial and career agent, not a budgeting app. It works in the background and messages you only when something is worth doing, usually a few times a month.
- Permission first: Aspire asks before acting. Nothing changes without your yes, and you set limits on what it can do and how much it can move. It never asks for a bank login in a message.
- Real maths: every number is calculated on UK rules, never generated by the AI. The AI explains the plan. Anything estimated is labelled as an estimate.
- Data: never sold, never shared with advertisers, encrypted. GDPR compliant. Aspire Learning Technologies is under review as an authorised agent of Moneyhub to use Account Information Services.
- Pricing: a free version for everyone, always available. Pro is free until 18 (some features limited for compliance), then £2.99 a month at a reduced rate for younger adults, then £7.99 a month.
- Schools: free for every UK secondary school, run by The Aspire Project Programmes CIC. Up to 14 live online lessons taught by trained Aspire mentors, a staff dashboard, and free app access for every pupil while at school, kept on the free plan afterwards.
- Companies: Aspire Learning Technologies Ltd builds the product. The Aspire Project Programmes CIC runs the schools programme.
- People: founded by Aryan Vedhara (CEO) and Oliver Phillips (COO). Angels include James Ankers (MD, Barclays), Charlie Bowes Lyon (former CMO, Wild), Andy Sleigh (former COO and CCO, ClearScore), Jev Mehmet (former COO, Brevan Howard) and Hemang Rishi (exited founder, Observe). Endorsed by John Flint CBE, former Group CEO of HSBC.
- Alpha results: 93% of alpha users returned daily and 96% retention, from a 96-user alpha cohort. 23k+ students are set to learn with Aspire through partner schools.
